The axles of 9 Line-18 Axles Low Bed Trailer are mostly collinear with two axles,which is there are two axles on the left and right on one line(also called a two-axle row). The common monocoque trailer has 2 to 7 line-axles. One wheel axle is equipped with 4 tires, and one lien-axles has 8 tires. Therefore, the width of the whole trailer can reach more than 3 meters.
In order to reduce the center of gravity of the whole trailer, steel radial wide rim tires (see car tires) with a small diameter and large load capacity are generally installed. Each tire can withstand a load of about 4 tons under low-speed operating conditions. The frame adopts a high-strength alloy steel box section welded structure. Usually a 5 line-axles monocoque trailer can carry more than 150 tons.
